TEAM Mark J. Cantwell, Ph.D. – Vice President of Research & Development  Mark J. Cantwell, Ph.D. is our Vice President of Research and Development and has served in this role since March 2006. Dr. Cantwell joined the Company as Director of Preclinical Programs in February 2004. From 1998-2003, Dr. Cantwell was employed at Tragen Pharmaceuticals, formerly Immunogenex Inc., a company specializing in immune therapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases. While at Tragen, Dr. Cantwell was a staff scientist involved in the preclinical development of Tragen's drug candidates. Dr. Cantwell received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at the University of California, San Diego in the lab of Thomas J. Kipps, M.D., Ph.D.. Dr. Cantwell received his B.S. in Applied Biology at Georgia Institute of Technology. BACK TO TEAM |
