A: Our mission is to introduce new technologies for anticancer and antiviral treatments that improve the performance and safety of existing drugs and address significant problems such as drug metabolism, toxicity, bioavailability and resistance. Q: What products does ADVENTRX have in development? A: We focus on the development of new therapies for cancer and HIV. Our lead product is CoFactor, an anticancer compound which is designed to improve the performance and safety of a widely used chemotherapeutic, 5-fluorouracil. A: We incorporated in the State of Delaware in December 1995 and began operations in 1996. We initially incorporated under the name "Victoria Enterprises, Inc." We subsequently changed our name to "BioQuest, Inc." then "Biokeys Pharmaceuticals, Inc." and finally "ADVENTRX Pharmaceuticals, Inc." in May 2003. Q: When did the Company go public? A: We initially registered our common stock pursuant to a Form 10SB first filed with the SEC in October 2001. We registered our common stock again on Form 8-A in April 2004.
